Weekend in Seattle

Photos above from our weekend get-a-way to Seattle. Don't they all look so fall-like and fun? That's because the weather was perfect, and it didn't rain the whole time (can you believe it?!). In just two short days, we managed to fit in live Irish music, crab scrambles and salmon omelets, coffee, coffee and more coffee, walks around Pike Place, hang time with old friends, the football game, a movie (The Ides of March - Ryan Gosling - need I say more?), too many hotdogs and a long run.

All in all, it was a great little mini vacation, and a great way to kick off fall - for real.

Weekend Photo Love: 10/1

It feels like it should be Thursday - that's how long the past two days have felt - but then again, tomorrow is Wednesday so that really is almost Thursday. Oh my, how time flies.

Fall Must-Dos

Now that it's a couple weeks into September, I figure it's time to stop hanging onto my tank tops and flip flops and embrace the fall. So, to get me in the mood, here are four fun things on my fall must-do list:

1. Make mini caramel apples
2. Wear socks with high heels
3. Find a really good hot chocolate recipe (that reminds me of Paris)
4. Fill my closet with chunky, comfy sweaters

P.S. - My sister is on her way to Santa Monica for the weekend as I type this, and I can hardly wait to spend some quality, girl-only time with her. Have a great weekend!
