Rough Drafts

Sorry that I’ve been less than active on here lately. There is an explanation, though. Don’t want you all to think I’ve gone and quit loving you. You see, I’m working on a short story for The Inlander’s 13th annual fiction contest. The Pacific Northwest Inlander is a newspaper that serves Spokane, Eastern Washington and North Idaho, and stories submitted to the contest must be set in the Pacific Northwest.

I first learned about the annual contest last year, and after much coercing from my Pacific Northwest friends, I decided to give it a try this year. Entries are due next Thursday, and with nothing but a (very) rough draft at this point, I have to get busy.

I’ll let you know how it goes. Until then, I hope you’ll all be sipping coffees, wrapping presents and enjoying the holidays!
