Saving the Day

Cajun Feet

Yesterday was a terrible day. Terrible. I seriously may have cried more tears yesterday than I have all year. It was that bad.

It's a good thing I have a husband who brings home special treats like smoked cheese and Guinness beers to cheer me up - and a cat with big rabbit feet who's always looking for a snuggle. Those two totally saved the day.

After a good cry, a ferocious rant, a fantastic dinner and a little Khloe and Lamar, the world seemed much more manageable.

Thank goodness.

There must have been something going on in the universe yesterday because I spent a lot of time crying after a job interview with a company that gave me the WORST vibe. One of the guys who interviewed me was such a jerk that the thought of possibly having to work with him made me feel ill...yet it's so awful to feel that way when you really need a job and don't want to throw away a good opportunity. Plus, a friend of mine ALSO spent hours crying because she accepted a job that a friend got her, then immediately got a much better job offer and had to reject the offer that she had gotten through the friend, so she felt terrible.

Wow, that's crazy, Heather! I'm so sorry that you had a bad day! That sounds terrible and I really hope you can find something that doesn't make you feel bad. And what a hard situation your friend was in - wow, I'm glad that day is over with and hopefully the week got better for you!
