Happy First Day of Summer!

Happy Summer Happy Summer Happy Summer Happy Summer Happy Summer Happy Summer
It's beginning to look a lot like summer around here! Even though today is the official first day of summer, I've already been hard at work on my summer list for a while - getting summer haircuts, eating chocolate fondue and too many sno cones, visiting family, soaking up plenty of sunshine - and loving every minute of it!

Dream Bob - Take 2

Dream Bob

Remember when I posted about my dream bob last week? Well, I take it back. Kristen Wiig (Annie) in Bridesmaids has my ultimate dream bob. Blonde. Messy. Perfect. (Just look at it up there!) I watched the movie last weekend and drooled the whole time - at the bob. That's how much I love it. (By the way, if you haven't seen Bridesmaids yet and you've still got room in your weekend plans, I would highly suggest squeezing it in. Not only is the hair good, but the outfits are good, too - and the laughs - oh, the laughs.)

My weekend will be spent catching up on TV (loving my DVR so much this fall!), trying out a new pumpkin recipe and rooting for the Cougs as they take on UCLA at the Rose Bowl. Should be a fun one!

Dream Bob

Have I mentioned lately that I hate my hair? Because I do. I HATE MY HAIR! (Sorry, hair - but you know it.)

On the flip side, I love Alexa Chung's hair. Photos of her have been popping up all over lately thanks to her partnership with Madewell, and every time I see her, I just want to grab the cute little, perfect bob off of her head and put it on mine. If only it were that easy...

Autumn Arrival

Happy first day of Autumn! I have to admit, I'm fully on board with the change of seasons now (even though I'm not letting myself break out my boots until Oct 1st). To celebrate the autumn arrival, I've decided to have an over-the-top fall weekend full of apple cinnamon candles, new sweaters for Mason, fall TV, pumpkin sugar cookies and fall birthday celebrating. (Doesn't get much more fall than that!) Will you be doing anything festive?

P.S. - How pretty is this fishtail braid? If only my hair was longer...
